Frequently Asked Questions

Is pole for everyone?

We are committed to providing an inclusive environment for all, regardless of gender, age, gender identity, race, health status, national origin, relationship status, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and religion.

What should I wear to class?

Comfortable, moveable attire similar to yoga wear. Avoid lotions and oils 8+ hours beforehand. Remove all jewelry. Shorts are required for climbing, spinning, or inverting.

I am out of shape. Is pole dancing for me?

The studio welcomes dancers of all shapes, sizes, abilities, and ages. Beginners are particularly valued and many achieve excellent fitness results through our classes.

What should I bring to class?

A water bottle and items specified in class descriptions (knee pads, heels, socks, legwarmers). Shorts are needed for climbing, spinning, or inverting.

Do I need the Intro Series if transferring studios or having dance experience?

Transferring students should email for assessment. Dancers with extensive backgrounds should still complete the series for foundational safety training, with possible exceptions for 2-3 private lessons.

Are the poles safe?

The studio uses X-Pole permanently mounted equipment, the highest rated among industry professionals.
