Daniela (She/Her)

Hey PFS community, I’m Daniela aka ‘Traviesa’ on the stage! I’ve been studying dance officially since 2016, starting with salsa, bachata and reggaeton. My pole dancing journey began in 2019 and I fell in love with it! After a brief hiatus, my circus journey continued with handstands and cyr wheel. In addition to pole, I love playing with aerial rope, partner acro and my latest toy, aerial pole.

I started performing in 2021 and I have experience with performing cyr wheel, lyra, pole, aerial rope and aerial pole. Some notable performances include an aerial rope duo/aerial pole ensemble act at the ECTA protege show ‘Sodo Story’, a competition at PSO NW 2022 in the L3 Championship category, an aerial pole act at Sessions in Place (concert event showcasing local musicians, artists and filmmakers), and most recently an aerial pole act at Friction (party hosted by Shay Tiziano and Mx Bliss).

I love heavy character work, theatricality, act creation and feeling sexy. I always think before making something, 'how can I make this something that people will connect with?' This is something that I hope to teach to my pole dancing students. If you smile, connect, feel confident in yourself and your movements, and sometimes shake your booty at them, that will go far with your audience. For students in my classes, I hope to give you ideas on how you can level up your dance and expression. Ultimately this journey is going to be up to you to pick and choose what feels right, and I want to be there to support and cheer you on!
