Floorwork
Want to move across the floor like butter? Expand your dance repertoire and learn new transitions that allow you to thread new movements together and feel confident in your floorwork. This class explores all elements of floorwork, such as legwork, dive downs, pop ups and rolls, to name a few. Students will also be given new ways to utilize the base of the pole for ascending and descending to the floor.

Level 1 (L1)
This class expands upon basic spins and transitions, while also exploring new poses and combos. Students will be introduced to climbing, sitting and upright dismounting, with continued work on the fundamentals of strength building and conditioning.
* Prerequisites: Completion of Intro to Pole Series (4 weeks/4 sessions minimum) OR students must be comfortable executing their basic spins on both sides, transitioning from the pole to the floor and vice-versa. (fireman, pinwheel/double stag, front hook, back hook, Ssit/step around spin, pirouette & half pirouette)
**No inverting allowed, and hips must be always below the shoulders when the student’s body is on the pole.

Level 2 (L2)
Students will continue to condition and strengthen their bodies for more advanced climbs, spins and static poses. This class focuses on expanding upon your current pole repertoire while harnessing more control and simultaneously, preparing you for the next stage, inverting. All tricks and poses are 3 points of contact and hips stay below the head (no inversions).
*Prerequisite: Students must be comfortable executing their basic climb and descent, executing the basic spins one handed, doing five crunches in a row and holding a pole sit for 5 seconds; all of which must be fulfilled on both sides. (Completion of an L1 Series should check these pre-requisites as well.)

Level 3 (L3)
In this level we take you upside down! We focus on the fundamentals of basic inverts and descents. As students gain more confidence and control, the class will explore the progression of other inversions. Build strength and consistency flowing in and out of various basic inverted poses. This class builds your foundation for L4 and beyond. Instructor clearance required.
*Prerequisites: Students must have a solid side climb on both sides, as well as the ability to hold a splay for 5 seconds, execute 3 splay crunches and solid knee hang engagement on both sides (test knee hang execution with dragonfly and no-handed genie, hold for 5 seconds).

Level 4 (L4)
Students will move through intermediate to advanced level inverts, expanding upon their inverted transitions, ascents and descents, as well as exploring more dynamic elements, such as pops and flips. Instructor clearance required.
*Prerequisites: Dual side proficiency for basic inverts (inside/outside leg hang, butterfly, pike) and aerial inverts, as well as strong shoulder mounts on both sides and the ability to safely execute a combo of minimum 3 inverted poses, complete with an ascent and a descent (the descent can be a clean pose or pass to the floor) *
