I was born and raised in Nebraska and moved to the Seattle area 9 years ago. I am a stay at home mom to two hyper boys and dogs.
I began my pole journey in 2018 and haven't looked back since. I found pole after being in a serious accident that left me with 3 broken bones and a nasty concussion. I was told by doctors I would no longer be able to run or do exercises that would put to much pressure on my ankle. At the time I was also unable to use my left arm at the time due to recovering from a broken collarbone and shoulder. I searched high and low for exercises I would be able to do after I had recovered. This is when I found pole. Pole completely rehabilitated me and helped me appreciate my body and all that it can do. I am stronger than I ever could imagine. The pole community has lifted me up and helped me believe in myself again. We have such loving beautiful people in this community. I could not imagine my life without everyone I have met through pole.
I hope to bring to students a sense of confidence, support, and love for what our bodies can accomplish. I want everyone to realize it doesn't matter your shape, your ethnicity, or your gender, pole is made for everyone. Everyone individually has their own strengths, which makes each pole combo, pose and dance look different on everyone. I want to help make each student movement their own and help them feel confident. Let's celebrate our individuality and the beauty of pole. I will be your biggest cheerleader!
